Real Homes feature in the Yorkshire Post

It was lovely to see one of our recent kitchen projects featured in the ‘Yorkshire Post’ weekend supplement ‘The Magazine’.

The feature, written by journalist Sharon Dale with photography by Paul Craig, showcases a project we completed in 2020. The bespoke kitchen was designed for clients renovating their home to include a large side extension, creating an open plan kitchen-dining-living space and suit their love of entertaining and passion for cooking.

This project included a walk in pantry, located in what was the original kitchen and finished in beautiful Musk Pink. The pantry included extensive storage, drinks bar, fridge, cheese cabinet, prep space and butler’s sink. The design also included a  walk-in temperature controlled wine room, handmade in oak to store wine by the case with 11 racked bottle positions and a 12th display shelf.

Many thanks to our clients for their helpful input and time putting this feature together.

Made from solid oak using the true end grain making it far stronger and used for true chopping / butcher blocks. An end grain board generally prohibits the blade from sinking into the wood, producing a dulling effect.
